Robinson FamilyLight Show
Families gathered in the snow at Porter Park, 2024

A community behind the lights

The magic belongs
to everyone.

The show is primarily funded by our family and made possible by our partnership with the City of Rexburg, generous contributors, and volunteers. Together we keep it free for every family.

Our partner

City of Rexburg

This show exists today because of you.

When our family believed the show had come to an end, the City of Rexburg reached out with a new possibility. That invitation became a partnership, a new home for the show, and a future for a tradition we thought we had lost.

Your continued support and major contributions help make this gift to the community possible. Thank you for believing in the show, standing beside our family, and helping keep the magic alive for everyone.

With thanks to

The family behind the show

The Robinson family

The show is primarily funded by our family. It began as something hopeful to share with the community and remains our gift to every family who comes to see it.

How the show is made possible

A clear promise to our community.

Free for every family. This show was never created to generate revenue. The vision has always been to create something fun, magical and free for every family. Come enjoy the lights and make memories without spending a thing. No purchase or donation is expected to enjoy the light show.

What support makes possible. The show is presented in partnership with the City of Rexburg. It is primarily funded by our family, with major contributions from the City, family and friends, Real Estate Two70, and generous volunteers who give their time and talents. We are deeply grateful to everyone who helps make it possible.

Recognition with purpose. We are happy to recognize you or your business by name on our website as a contributor. Contributions support the light show; they do not purchase advertising or business promotion. Regular show nights do not include vendor spaces or onsite selling.
  • 4
Opening night. Opening night is the exception. It is a larger community celebration in partnership with the Neutral Zone, the City of Rexburg, and other community partners. Vendor spaces are part of that special event, while the light show itself remains free for everyone.

Want to help? If you share that vision and would like to contribute funds, materials, services, or your time to help keep the magic free, we would love to talk.

And to our neighbors

Thank you for those first years.

You lived with the traffic and the disruption while we tried to create something for the community. We know that asked a great deal of you. Your patience gave this tradition its start, and we are deeply grateful.

With love and gratitude,
The Robinson family
